Take a closer look at the new Nike Kobe 3 Hunting PE Jalen Brunson

It has become clear over the last few seasons that New York Knicks will only go as far as All-Star Jalen Brunson is able to take them. Reaching new heights of fame consecutively NBA playoffs for the past two years, Brunson won’t rest until he brings New York its first championship since 1973. He emulates the “mamba mentality” of the late great Kobe Bryantchanneling the spirit of Nix with his latest Nike Kobe 3 PE.

The Knicks’ Jaylen Brunson was recently linked with reports that he would prefer to wear Kobe Bryant’s signature Nike sneaker instead of having his own signature model. Brunson has favored the Nike Kobe line since entering the league as Nike recently released its own PE (Player Exclusive) colorway Nike Kobe 6, inspired by the Statue of Liberty.
It looks like Brunson will get his wish as he recently got a closer look at his latest Nike Kobe 3 PE. An orange color, called “Arancia” or “orange” in Italian, which could be a subtle nod to Kobe Bryant’s Italian roots.

Brunson recently made his on-court debut for the Knicks, the All-Star later shared more detailed looks at the exclusive pair on social media. They may not remain exclusive for much longer as Nike plans to release the sneaker later this year, but we can certainly expect Jalen Brunson to continue rocking them throughout the regular season.
The all-orange sneaker takes on the Nike Kobe 3 Hunt, a new and understated iteration of the classic Nike Kobe 3 that Bryant wore en route to his MVP award in 2008. The Nike Swoosh on the rear heel is accented with metallic blue, the final Knicks detail for a simple yet effective sneaker.
While there’s no word yet on an official release, expect this Nike Kobe 3 PE to drop in time for the NBA Playoffs. Given the limited nature and hype surrounding the latest release, expect similar availability across Nike retailers and outlets.
