The Anthony Davis trend would be in the last minute before the trade deadline

If trade involving Dallas Mavericks a great man Anthony Davis was about to come truethere is a potential date when this will happen.

Davis has been on and off the court during his time with the Mavericks. He’s in his second season with the franchise after a big hit that saw him leave Los Angeles for Dallas in a trade for Luka Doncic.

The Mavericks were unable to find significant success with Davis due to injuries on the roster, including himself. This led to trade rumors surrounding the veteran star, which NBA insider Brett Siegel went over when he there is an overall interest of the teams in Davis.

“If Anthony Davis or the Mavericks make a big move, it’s not going to come until that trade deadline. We’re talking about Feb. 3, Feb. 4, Feb. 5, when the trade deadline is. I wouldn’t expect any significant movement there unless they were able to get a huge trade package, which they didn’t get,” Siegel told Cop.

“At this point, there have been reports that there are several Eastern Conference teams interested in AD, but there’s been pushback in all those areas. When you ask around the league, that’s a big question in the market. And the big question is, is this Rich Paul guy trying to create a market for Anthony Davis? Are the Mavericks trying to say, ‘hey over there to offer them the best assets.’ Because every one of those teams has something the Mavericks would want.

Reporter Tomer Azarly he added in his mind to Davis’ position in the league. He believes the Mavericks will remain patient until they see what they have in their core when healthy.

“The Mavs want to see what they have here with Cooper Flagg, with Kyrie Irving, with Anthony Davis before they make any franchise-altering moves. That obviously could change, assuming you get the right AD package,” Azarly said.

Clearly, the Mavericks will have a lot of decisions to make in the present and the future, especially with Anthony Davis. They like the skill set he brings, but will evaluate other options if they want to go in a different direction.

Dallas has a 9-16 record on the season, holding onto 11th place in the Western Conference standings. They are tied with the Utah Jazz while trailing the Portland Trail Blazers by 0.5 games and the Memphis Grizzlies by 2.5 games.

The Mavericks will continue their preparations for the upcoming match, as they are at home. They host the Brooklyn Nets on December 12th at 8:30pm ET.
