The Bucks also inquired about Ja Morant!
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinelthe Bucks are interested I Morant as the trade deadline approaches!
In Milwaukee, the idea is simple: add a true outside playmaker to relieve Giannis Antetokounmpo and lift the team off the court. In the Ja Morant file we are still talking about the XSL bet. Memphis is listening to offers for its All-Star point guardeven if the franchise does not exclude retention after February 5th.
At 26, Ja Morant remains one of the most explosive point guards/guards in the league, but his injury history and off-season turbulence complicate the market. His max contract also imposes a large salary package and likely a high price tag for young players and/or draft picks.
Why is Milwaukee still thinking about it? Because the Morant-Giannis tandem would put rare pressure on the opposing circle: continuous pick-and-rolls, an accelerated pace and the constant threat of the urge to change scorers. But between financial feasibility, competition and risk management, we are only at the interest stage.
Note that Milwaukee would always monitor Zach LaVinein pure shooter style at the back.
