Would Kobe White going to the Clippers help them get out of the mess?

There’s no getting around the fact that the Clippers are a mess. They are currently 13-22 years old and are made up of an aging, jumpy veteran team. The most famous are Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. White, with his dynamic play and consistent scoring, undoubtedly would they provide a much-needed sparkby Elias Schuster of Sports Illustrated.

Additionally, he is only 25 years old and brings much-needed youth. Plus, his ability to space the floor can take a lot of the load off guys like Harden and Leonard. Also, White could be given long-term contract because the Clippers would see him as a player to build around for the future. In the same breath, he could be a high value rental property.

Indeed, there would be some risks involved. White is not exactly known for being a strong defender. Besides, they would have to consider who they would be willing to give up to bring in White. At the same time, there is a the risk that he will be there in the short term. Also, recent injuries could cause legitimate concerns from a game standpoint.

The NBA trade deadline is scheduled for February 5.
