The Knicks beat the Bucks and advance to the quarterfinals

In addition to the issues of this meeting, the event was also return to Ginanis Anthtakenio. The Greek stood out immediately by committing two fouls in just a few seconds. That doesn’t bother the Bucks, who are skilled from long range and are 11-0. AJ Green is particularly accurate and Milwaukee wins the first quarter (33-37).

In the second, Giannis does a tremendous job and he and his teammates defend well. However, things fell apart a bit and the Knicks took advantage of it for an 11-2 run. After returning to the locker room, neither team made the difference (61-62). This observation was confirmed after the break. Doc Rivers’ troops struggled offensively, but the debates remained balanced, despite New York’s brief lead (92-88).

The Knicks start the final quarter in the best possible way: three game-winning baskets in 80 seconds. This 9-0 completely shakes the Bucks, who then play without their two-time MVP. Sure, the Bucks will bounce back, but it’s New York that has the upper hand. With baskets by Jalen Brunson, a steal by Karl-Anthony Towns on a rebound or even an important offensive rebound by Josh Hart, the Knicks won 118-109 and booked their ticket to the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup.

WHAT TO REMEMBER

– Return of Antetonconmp. Hesitant at first, a bit embarrassed by two mistakes, it took the Greek a few minutes to get into the game, after missing ten days of competition. Then we found the dominant player that he is. In just 28 minutes, he collected 30 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and carried his team. The problem for Milwaukee was that we had to play 20 minutes without him and it showed…

– Josh Hart’s big match. Jaylen Branson certainly scored 37 points, but the master of New York had an outstanding result with 19 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. He also took care of Giannis for a good part of the night on defense, and his efforts to contain him were praised by Madison Square Garden.

– Raptors – Knicks and the quarter finals. The Knicks had to win this game to continue their adventure in the NBA Cup. It’s over and on December 9th they will travel to Toronto to challenge the Raptors and seek a spot in the Final Four in Las Vegas.
