The Nets’ best Giannis Antetokounmpo trade offer to the Bucks is imminent

So what would the reconstruction team be willing to put on the table to capture the Greek freak?

The Nets’ most realistic offer to the Bucks in a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo

However, even with their first pick in 2026 and Demin off the table, the Nets have enough to make one of the most attractive packages.

Michael Porter Jr.’s $37 million contract would be the main salary cap in the deal. Milwaukee could keep Porter or flip him for more assets. The 6-foot-10 sharpshooter is coming off an All-Star caliber season and is considered one of the best players on the market outside of Antetokounmpo.

Aside from Porter, the Bucks could choose from a handful of young Nets prospects, including Noah Clowney, Nolan Traore, Drake Powell, Cam Thomas, Day’Ron Sharp, Danny Wolf and Ben Saraf.

In this deal, the Bucks come away with four unprotected first-round picks and a trade, most of which are long shots. Given the winning mindsets of the Knicks and Nuggets, their future picks could have a significant upside. Milwaukee could also trade Porter for another first-rounder or two.

From a player perspective, the Bucks may decide to keep Porter if they want to stay competitive. They have intriguing young prospects in Clowney, Traore and Powell. They are also flying Thomas, who has averaged over 20 points per game the past three seasons and could be a fresh start in a rebuilding team.

The Nets would have depleted much of their assets, but they still have enough leftover to build a competitive roster around Antetokounmpo.

Ultimately, it’s unclear if this package would be enough for the Bucks or if the Nets would make such an offer. However, the frame is enticing enough that both parties are likely to have an extended internal conversation.
