The promotion confirms a number of new signings, including the former WWE star

On yesterday’s January 14, 2026 edition of AEV Dynamite Maximum Carnage, fans witnessed a promo teasing the arrival of former TNA stars, The Rascalz. They consist of four men, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Desmond Xavier and Myron Reed, all of whom have now reportedly signed new contracts with AEV. Desmond Xavier, also known as Wes Lee, was previously part of the WWE NXT roster.

All Elite Wrestling soon teased its arrival after Fightful Select reported they sign a new contract. The report states that The Rascalz were backstage during Dynamite and have been signed to the promotion since the first week of January. It was also noted that all four men agreed to multi-year deals after their previous TNA Wrestling contracts expired. While TNA tried to keep The Rascalz, AEV reportedly came in with a better offer.

However, these were not the only signings that AEV announced yesterday. In addition to The Rascalz, All Elite Wrestling has now also signed three CMLL stars to their contracts. According to CMLL Info’s video on social media, Persephone and Masked Dorado they are now under dual contractssigned for AEV and CMLL.

All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan later confirmed the news and also announced the additional signing of Hechicero as another addition to the list. Hechicero, a member of the Don Callis family, is now also under a dual contract with AEV and CMLL.

Dorada, 24, recently competed in AEV’s Continental Classic, which Jon Mockley ended up winning. Dorada competed in the Blue League, finishing the tournament with six points. Meanwhile, Persephone, 24, was an active participant in several matches for AEV and ROH. Last month on December 5, 2025, at ROH Finals Battle, she faced Athena for the ROH Women’s World Title in a forfeit.
