The promotion is reportedly unhappy with ticket sales for WrestleMania 42

A few years ago, after Vince McMahon stepped down from a position of power and he left VVE after the appearance lawsuits by Janel Grant, TKO takeover. However, since the takeover of TKO, VVE has gone through several management and business changes.
With rising ticket pricesFans also witnessed a reduction in live show dates as well as shorter match cards. Although among these changes, the discussion about the price of tickets remained a common occurrence.
Recently, according to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, it was noted that the Stamford-based promotion held a multi-departmental meeting over WrestleMania 42 tickets on sale. The current spread of tickets per night is 36,000, which is roughly 10,000 tickets per night less than what they had last year. All departments are now also tasked with promotions and strategies to increase ticket sales as well as build momentum as the promotion heads into WrestleMania.
Last year’s event provided a range of 56,000-60,000 tickets per night, which is roughly 118,641. With WrestleMania still a few months away, WWE can hope to hit the desired number. Although Fightful Select also claimed that WWE “plans to keep ticket prices as they are for now.”
As of this writing, WrestleMania 42 tickets are currently priced from $266.80 to $8,998.00 for the A1 floor section. Elite VIP package tickets are also available for a combined two-night experience, where ticket prices go up to $46,219 per person (Ticketmaster original list prices, no resale numbers included). WWE WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18-19, 2026.
