The reporter implies that NBA Youngboy’s concerts still reek of weed in the locker rooms
The Miami Heat was one of them more surprising NBA teams in the first week of the season, winning three straight games after a season-opening loss to the Orlando Magic. The Heat’s offense looks like it’s finally ready to embrace the NBA’s 21st-century style of play, which is made all the more impressive by the fact that Tyler Herro is out lineup due to injury.
Next up for the Heat is a tough test on the road against the undefeated San Antonio Spurs and recently defeated reporter Ira Winderman interesting factor which the team has faced on numerous occasions this season.
“For the third time this season, the Heat are playing the arena the night after the NBA Youngboy concert. And it smells the same as the first two. The locker rooms are literally closed here in San Antonio with signs being disinfected,” Winderman reported on X, formerly Twitter.
While Winderman didn’t explicitly name the source of the scent, it’s probably safe to guess what kinds of scents might be wafting through the air at an NBA Youngboy show.
A hot start for the heat

Assuming they don’t get high contact in the locker room before the game, the Heat will have a great chance to put the league on notice Thursday night in San Antonio against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, who are currently 4-0 on the season.
As previously mentioned, the Heat have had a hot start to the year, thanks in large part to the resurgence of third-year wing Jaime Jacques Jr., as well as Bam Adebayo’s increased aggression on the offensive end, among other factors.
If the Heat can continue to play this free-flowing style of basketball even with Tyler Hero, who has been known as a bit of an offensive black hole throughout his career, returning from injury, they could be a real threat to make the postseason in the East.
Either way, the Heat and Spurs will square off on Thursday at 8:30 PM ET.
