The season is over for Walker Kessler!
Heavy blow for Utah and especially for Walker Kessler : by Chris Haines or even ESPNhe was forced to undergo surgery due to an injury to his left shoulder. A labrum tear, to be exact.
Accordingly, the young staff Jazz he will have to miss the rest of the season, even though it started barely two weeks ago! He was the starter, ahead of Jusuf Nurkic, averaging 14.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals since the restart.
Aside from the athlete, it’s also bad news for Walker Kessler from a contractual standpoint, because he’s not not extended by its managers before the start of the financial year, with the latter preferring to wait until the summer of 2026 to do so. Maybe his injury will cost him a few million dollars on his future contract…
