Trae Young drops a stunning 6-word rendition of a teammate on the rise
Trae Young he has yet to adjust to his new team, Washington Wizardsas he continues to work his way back from a quad injury that would keep him out out at least until after the All-Star break. But Young has been heavily involved with the Wizards, and he’s gone on the record saying how impressed he is with the team’s growing young core.
Until Young returns to action, the young Wizards will have to figure out how to play winning basketball – with Keyshaun George making a big splash in his second NBA season. George has taken on more responsibility to play and score, and while he’s had his ups and downs, the Wizards have to be very impressed with the strides he’s made. On Saturday night, George scored 29 points on 10-20 shooting from the field in a 121-115 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
George’s play was so impressive that it caught the eye of Young, who let out a six-word reaction to the Wizards forward game this weekend.
“The young bull is really like that…🔥,” Yang wrote on his official account on X (formerly Twitter).
The Wizards’ young core is taking shape

For low cost of CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert, The Wizards landed the services of Young, a four-time All-Star and perennial 20-10 threat whose play makes life easier for the rest of his team.
Young’s defensive issues have been well documented, but the Wizards potentially have the personnel to cover him. George is a burgeoning two-way player, as is Alex Sarr. Bilal Coulibaly is a certified defensive ace. Even Tre Johnson and Bub Carrington showed great defensive activity.
The Wizards keeping Young out also means more potential for them to have a higher pick in this year’s draft, adding to their young core.
