Tyler Hero and Bam Adebayo approach the floor

Tyler HerroIt is a stage that always satisfies those involved and their teammates. Even if we don’t yet know exactly when he will return to the field, Tyler Herro etc Bam Adebayo joined Erik Spoelstra’s group yesterday for his first practice since foot and toe injuries.

Tyler Aro has yet to play this season, due to a foot injury that eventually forced him to undergo surgery on September 19th, and the unavailability was estimated at the time to be two months. Bam Adebayo, for his part, has missed the last five matches due to soreness in his big toe, an ailment that can be very troublesome, especially for guys like him. The mission of the medical staff will now be to gauge his enthusiasm and ensure he is 100% before he returns to the pitch.

“I feel a lot less pain compared to what I used to feel. Really less. So I’m working so I can come back.”, launched inside. “The decision will come down to the staff. Of course they’re trying to protect me from myself. But it’s been so good, just to get back to training.”

Tyler Hero has had more time to be patient, but he’s also enjoying getting back into training.

“It was just a great feeling to be with my teammates again and to be on the field with them for the first time all season. So it was good to start training again. My leg is better. I’ve been rehabbing every day since the operation to try to get back as soon as possible. I plan to be back in a week or two, hopefully there will be no negative reactions. So we’ll see how it goes.”

Maximum precautions

For him, too, the medical staff will take every precaution to not rush his return and make sure he’s able to absorb the rhythm and sequence of effort that the everyday life of an NBA player in the middle of the regular season requires. The player did everything to avoid surgery because he knew that surgery meant longer rehabilitation and more uncertainty about when he would return.

“There was no definite timetable for my return when I had the surgery”he explained. “Everybody had their prediction about the number of weeks. But it depends on how I feel and how my foot reacts. Some people last three or five months after the same injury. So it just depends on how my foot reacts. I was hoping it would be done after six weeks. But at that point, I just got back on the field, to start taking care of myself. And again, I said how I’m going to feel, how I’m going to move. 24 hours a day so I can get back to terrain as much as possible.

The medical staff will also be on a mission to ensure that the quarterback has the same offensive impact, with the same explosiveness, as before his injury. Especially since Miami decided to pick up the pace this season.

“I’m going to be myself, and I’m going to play the way I played last season, the one before that and the one before that… I know how to play fast. I played fast my whole life before I came to Miami. I know how to develop in this style of offense. That’s the good thing about me, I can play in any type of offense.”he concluded.

A little more patience, for Tyler Hero and Bam Adebayo as well as their teammates who can only be thrilled at the idea of finding them. “We’re going to add two All-Stars. I don’t think there’s much else to say.”recalled Nikola Jović. “They are very easy to play with. They are amazing players”.
