Tyler Hero first signed with the Swoosh shortly after being drafted into the NBA in 2019. He remained loyal to the sponsor throughout his first six years in the league, most recently appearing in number of advertisements at the start of this 2025-26 season. The young star is coming off his best season as a pro, averaging career highs of 23.9 PPG and 5.5 APG.

Herro has yet to debut on the NBA floor this season while rehabbing from minor ankle surgery, but is optimistic he’ll be back soon as he recently started training. However, he made his debut on the big screen, starring in another wild Nike commercial.

Tyler Hero for Nike

Hero shows up on a dock in Miami at a boat shop, negotiating with the salesman about the expectations of the championships coming to town. “Either you win, or you lose weight. Simple.” exclaims the salesman.

Florida rapper Loe Shimmi also showed up, calling in and telling Hero, “(Miami) doesn’t care if you look good on a yacht, we’re trying to play in June.

After the salesman flaunts his likely fake Miami Heat championship ring, Loe Shimmy smashes the traditional bottle over the boat as the ad ends with “MIAMI has something to say.” Looking ahead to the current season, Hero will be hoping to lead his team deeper into the NBA playoffs after back-to-back first round exits.
