Tyrese McKay breaks the Pacers with an extremely rare Allen Iverson feat

The Philadelphia 76ers got back into the win column with a 113-104 win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The 76ers were coming off back-to-back losses against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tyrese Maxey starred again for Philadelphia with 29 points, four rebounds, eight assists and eight steals in his career. It was fitting that the talented point guard showed up just hours after being named the starter in the All-Star game.
In addition, Mackey joined Allen Iverson as the only players in team history to register said numbers in the game, according to StatMuse.

It’s not hard to see the similarities between Maxey and Iverson. Both are quick, explosive, fearless and have the ability to come up big in pressure situations.
The 25-year-old Maxey, who will be playing in his second All-Star game, has often been viewed as a modern-day embodiment of Iverson, whose legacy will forever be felt in Philadelphia.
Iverson has publicly praised Maxey on multiple occasions, citing his work ethic, humility and growth as a leader. While not a formal mentor, the former MVP has positioned himself as an advocate, often pointing to Maxey as someone who can lead the Sixers back to success.
Philadelphia has not been to the NBA Finals since Iverson led the team in 2001.
While the 76ers are still looking for consistency, they will always be a threat with Maxey, Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe leading the way.
Embiid had 30 points, nine rebounds and four assists against the Pacers, while Edgecomb had 11 points, five rebounds and four assists.
