Tyrese McKay scores an incredible 35 points against the Wizards

Tyrese McKay is still on the heater after guiding Philadelphia 76ers over the Washington Wizards, 121-102, at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday.

Maxey dropped a game-high 35 points on 13-of-26 shooting. He added four rebounds, six assists, four steals and one block in another commendable performance.

The talented quarterback was one of the few bright spots in what was another up-and-down campaign for the 76ers. They improved to 11-9 with the win over the Wizards.

Maxi recorded his 20th consecutive game with at least 20 points, indicating the heavy load he has carried for Philadelphia this season.

Entering the game against Washington, the 25-year-old point guard was third in the league with 32.3 points per game, trailing only Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers and Shai Giljus-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

However, unlike the Lakers and Thunder, the Sixers struggle to pile up the Vs. Joel Embiid has been on and off the roster, Paul George is still finding his grooveand Kelly Oubre Jr. is out due to a knee injury.

While McKay and VJ Edgecombe have been exciting to watch, and Andre Drummond has been quietly putting up solid numbers, they clearly need more help.

Maxey, who is poised to earn his second All-Star Game nod, has a 44-point explosion in an overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors.

He was limited to 52 games last season with a finger injury. In his return to full health, Maxi shows that he is not here to mess around.
