Tyus Jones will leave the Mavericks

March 1 is the deadline to part ways with players, to allow them to join the team at the top of the table. If Chris Middleton’s case remains suspended in Dallas, on the other hand, Ty Jones is being decided.
Marc Stein reveals the Mavs intend to cut point guard Tyus Jones. Since this decision will be made before Sunday night, Jones will retain playoff eligibility with his next team.
After long stints with the Wolves and then the Grizzlies, Treo’s brother has been more on the move for three seasons, and this year alone he just made the switch from the Magic to the Hornets, before returning to the Mavericks, from whom he would finally be cut.
This departure will make someone happy: Ryan Nembhardtone of the best “two-way contracts” of the season. The person in question has played 44 of the 50 games allowed for this type of contract and should therefore be signed until the end of the season on a classic contract.
