Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 release details



Nike and Jordan Brand already seen an active in 2026 with a series of retro releases around NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, but Jumpman is just getting started in terms of their joint efforts over the coming months. Soon, Union and Fragment will team up to release what might be the most hyped release yet Air Jordan 1 sneaker in recent memory.

Created by streetwear designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, Fragment Design first teamed up with Air Jordan to create a simple yet coveted black/white/blue design in 2014. To this day, the original pair brings in over $1,500 on the resale market, building the foundation for Fragment’s upcoming work with the Travis Scott line.

Los Angeles-based Union, founded by Chris Gibbs, first collaborated with the Jordan 1 in 2018 with their popular deconstructed ‘piece-together’ approach to classic colorways. Mixed and matched in all the OG colorways of the Jordan 1, the ultimate pairs are running around $1,500 on the market also.

Already released exclusively in Los Angeles during NBA All-Star Weekend 2026, the highly anticipated collaboration between the two iconic brands will be released globally online in the coming weeks.

Union x Fragment x Air Jordan 1

The “Varsity Red” colorway was previously released on February 14th via Union Los Angeles and select Fragment showrooms a week earlier on February 7th. Just today, Nike confirmed a wider release of this colorway via Nike SNKRS applicationgiving global access to the hyped that retails for $205. A pair has been added for a February 27, 2026 release, and should be in a fairly limited run in full adult sizes.

Early bird raffles are already underway for the second “Black/Navy” pair with select entries receiving early access to the pair on February 18th. A wider Nike SNKRS release has yet to be determined for this release, but expect someone to follow the “Varsity Red” pretty closely.
