Victor Vembanyama’s windmill dunk draws admiration from fans

Victor Vembanyama stunned the home crowd with his incredible dunk in San Antonio Spurs match against Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

Vembanjama is halfway through the third season of his NBA career with the Spurs. He is enjoying his best campaign to date as he actively helps the team to be in a strong playoff position, the team’s first since 2019.

Vembanjama’s size and athleticism allows him to make a lot of dunksadding another to his collection. The highlight came in the early minutes of the fourth quarter, when the Stars center drove into the paint and then leapt into the air to pull off an incredible windmill dunk.

As Victor Vembania, the Spurs played against the Kings

Victor Wembanyama enjoyed a superb performance as he led the Spurs to a convincing 139-122 victory over the Kings.

The game started tight between the two teams, as San Antonio only led 35-31 after the first quarter. Despite this, the hosts continued to build their lead as they won the remaining periods of regulation.

Six players scored in double figures for San Antonio in the win, including Vembanyama. He finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, four blocks and one steal. He shot 11 of 20 from the field, including 1 of 5 from beyond the arc and 5 of 7 from the free throw line. De’Aaron Fox was next with 18 points and five assists, Stephon Castle had 18 points and eight rebounds, Keldon Johnson had 18 points, while Harrison Barnes had 14 points and two rebounds. Meanwhile, Dylan Harper had 12 points and five assists.

San Antonio improved to 40-16 on the season, holding second place in the Western Conference standings. They are above the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets while trailing the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With eight straight wins, Spurs will be looking forward to their next match. They are on the road when they face the Detroit Pistons on February 23rd at 7pm ET.
