Victor Wembanyama shows DPOTI a bid with Cade Cunningham’s block

There are two things you absolutely cannot do in life: 1. Skydive without a parachute and 2. Try to shoot at San Antonio Spurs center Victor Vembanyama.
Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham learned the second the hard way Monday at Little Caesars Arena.
After a mediocre first half, Cunningham tried to get going in the third quarter. On one play, he went past Devin Vassell and tried to float over Vembanyama. The 7-foot-4 star, however, still could block the ball at its peak.

Tell us that’s not unfair.
It’s usually an automatic score for Cunningham. But normally it does not refer to Vembanyama. No one is allowed to score while patrolling the paint.
It has become a habit for the 22-year-old Vembanyama to leave fans with surreal performances, showcasing his unique blend of length, athleticism and versatility.
From writing, The Spurs trail the Pistons by eight points, 83-75, entering the fourth quarter.
