Victor Wembanyama shows range with a big shot over Mitchell Robinson
Victor Vembanyama created an incredible climax against Mitchell Robinson during San Antonio The game of the Spurs for the NBA Cup championship against New York Knicks on Tuesday night.
Vembanjama is going through the third season of his career. After a hot start to the campaign, he made a brilliant return to action on December 13 after a month out with a calf injury. He came off the bench in the Spurs’ semifinal victory over the NBA-best Oklahoma City Thunder, reaching the NBA Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history.
Vembanjama made sure that the most interesting things continued. That was certainly the case with his shot against Robinson in the second quarter. The Spurs big man caught the ball inside the arc as he pulled for a jumper over downtown Nix. It was clear that Robinson wasn’t going to block it with how quickly Vembanjama was able to deal with the middle order.
