Video of Zachary Rizaher’s fall leaves fans horrified

The Atlanta Hawks recorded their fifth straight win after running away from the Phoenix Suns, 124-122, at the Mortgage Matchup Center on Sunday.

The Hawks came back from as many as 20 points, outscoring the Suns in the fourth quarter, 42-27, to improve to 9-5.

A terrifying incident, however, marred the come-from-behind victory Zachary Rizaher suffered a nasty fall after a two-handed dunk with seven minutes left in the final period. His fast break momentum kept him from holding on to the rim.

Fans immediately expressed concern after seeing footage of Rizacher’s bad fall.

“Damn, what a terrible love for Zachary Rizacher,” he said @ridiculouscage.

Fortunately, Rizacher was able to make it to the locker room on his own. He did not return to the game after being sidelined with a hip contusion.

The 20-year-old forward, who was selected by the Hawks with the top overall pick last year, had 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals.

The Hawks can’t afford to lose Rizacher as they are already without Tree Young and Kristaps Porzingis. But so far, Risacher seems to have avoided a major setback.

Risacher was a key cog for Atlanta, teaming up with Jalen JohnsonDeason Daniels, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Onieka Okongwu in holding down the fort amid their injury-riddled portion.
