Warriors fans are begging for Nikola Vucevic’s trade after Stephen Curry, comments Steve Kerr

Golden State The Warriors lost to the Sacramento Kings 123-117, and even though they led late in the game, they didn’t have enough to close it out. Stephen Curry was doubled and the Warriors couldn’t capitalize, allowing the Kings to get back into the game. After the game, Curry and the head coach Steve Kerr both shared the same comments and dropped a hint about the type of player who they need it in the team.

“You have a counter aggressive defense that wants to take the ball out of my hands… Try to create an advantage with his presence — or the presence of a scorer in the box.” It definitely helps,” Curry said.

“Playing with a lot of space is a luxury. … He changes the look out there,” Kerr said. “He can hit the 3. He can pass. You saw him fight Sabonis. It’s a different look and I’d like to give it some time.”

If you look at the comments, Warriors fans have been talking non-stop Nikola Vucevic is the answer to their problems. Vucevic spreads the floor and can hit shots from the perimeter, which can help when opposing defenses play Curry aggressively.

Although Vucevic can solve that problem, The Warriors don’t seem willing to make a trade to break up their team, as they discussed recently.

Warriors lose to Kings

After the game, Steve Kerr shared more of the issues that led to their loss to the Kings.

“Traffic,” Kerr said. “The whole game was like that. Turnover in the third quarter. They were trapped in the first half, we trapped well and had wide looks and knocked down shots. We lost our composure in the second half. They turned up the pressure, but other than maybe two or three plays where they caught Steph (Curry) and rebounded, I thought almost every turnover was unforced. But sometimes when you get up to speed, you make bad decisions, and I thought that happened a little bit tonight.”

The Warriors had several injuries to some of their key players, but were still able to give themselves a chance to win near the end of the game. The Warriors don’t appear to be making any big moves before the trade deadline and will have to try to win with what they have.
