Watch Jaren Jackson Jr. swings his first bucket in Utah
The Utah Jazz performed a blockbuster landing move Jaren Jackson Jr. over Memphis Grizzlies. Now he has his first basket in a new environment.
Jackson took the rebound and approached the key. He simply just lobbed for two points.
But it will likely become the first of many points for the Jazz’s newest member.
How Jaren Jackson Jr. arrived at Jazz

Jackson arrived first NBA trade deadline stopped on Thursday. This move signaled a drastic change in the Ja Morant era which featured Jackson as a key piece.
Morant was another trade conversation heard around the league. But he ended up staying while Jackson packed his bags.
The move still involved a staggering eight different players. Memphis received three future draft picks in exchange. Rookie Walter Clayton Jr. also joined the deal.
Memphis is now guaranteed a whopping 13 picks in the deal. But Utah is stepping up here, too.
Versatile guard/forward John Konchar also arrived in the deal. Same with center Jock Landale to improve the interior. Vince Williams Jr. is another attacker added here.
Jackson hit the ground running in his jazz debut in Orlando. He dropped 15 points in just the first nine minutes. Jackson hit six field goals on eight attempts. He also had two assists as the Jazz-Magic approached halftime.
Jackson is part of a rebuilding phase in Salt Lake City, as the Jazz are 16-36. But he exemplifies his potential stardom here.
