Watch Joe Mazzulla ask a reporter about a haircut during an interview

The Boston Celtics they are having a season that may have looked different than the last few, but they are embracing the change and getting wins. Throughout the season, there have been some fun moments for the Celtics to watch, whether it was the media vs. coach matchup, or Jaylen Brown’s hair loss on the jerseys of the opposing players.

Head coach Joe Mazzulla he also had a lot of moments, and recently he had one with a reporter. While answering the question, he looked back at the reporter and asked him a question.

“Is that the first time you’ve had your hair cut like that?” Macula asked.

“I think so, yes,” the reporter replied.

It was a crazy time to ask that question, but Mazula seems to do it sometimes, and his interactions with the media are pretty funny. Outside of Mazzulla’s interaction with the media, he showed that the team is playing well, especially with the loss it had in the season. With Jayson Tatum out with an Achilles injury and Joey Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis being traded, the Celtics have had to rely on a lot of different players so far to start the year.

Macula was recently asked what he learned about this current team that he’s coaching, and that’s the fight that they’ve been showing every night.

“We care,” Macula said. “There’s a big care factor. And a high competition factor. I think during the season you can do a lot with that.”

Brown and Derrick White lead the way for the Celtics, and that’s what they’ll need to do consistently this season if they want to stay competitive. Peyton Pritchard also became a starter after coming off the bench the last few seasons, and gave them a much needed boost in scoring.
