Watch LeBron James make his first bucket in a historic 23-year-old

LeBron James has made more baskets than anyone not named Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, so he should be pretty numb to sink a bucket during a November game. However, the all-time great certainly appreciates what it means in his history-making 23rd NBA campaign. After being sidelined by sciatica, James made his season debut Tuesday against the Utah Jazz. scoring the first points from the end of April.
Despite being in the background for a good portion of the first half, the 40-year-old got on the scoreboard with a 3-pointer nearly four minutes into the second quarter. James continues to find ways to make an impact even when he’s not putting the ball in the net, notching four assists at press time.
