Watch Victor Wembanyama slide down the rail at All-Star Weekend

The San Antonio Spurs entered the All-Star break with the third-best record in the league at 38-16. With Victor Vembanyama at the helmThe Spurs were an absolute treat to watch.

The 7-foot-4 center is all business when he’s on the court, especially when going up against a fellow superstar. But he still knows how to have fun when he’s not playing.

Vembanjama was at All-Star Weekend on Friday in Los Angeles and showed a different kind of, ahem, athleticism when slid down the track at the Kia Forum.

“Be careful, Vic,” said someone in the background.

“I’m watching,” replied Vembanyama, who was wearing all white.

Don’t forget that he is only 22 years old. He must have done this many times when he was at school.

However, he did not have a typical childhood. At just 10 years old, he entered the youth system of Nanterre 92, a professional club in France. Since then, he has dedicated his life to basketball.

Vembanjama’s diligence paid offas he is now part of the NBA elite. He is a nightly headache for opponents with his size, skill set and competitiveness. He became more efficient at using his height, showing increased aggression.

He will play in his second straight All-Star Game on Sunday, leading the World Team, along with the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Luka Doncic and the New York Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns, among others.
