Ann Michael Maye was called the “Queen of the North”, and her grandmother recently shared what she really thinks about her granddaughter’s title.
Since Anne Michael is engaged to New England Patriots quarterback Drake May, the nickname is derived from the region. Fans also called her the first lady of New England.
“Grandma called me one day and said, ‘Did you know you’re the queen of New England?’ Ann Michael said on her Beyond Bakemas YouTube series with guest influencer Hallie Batchelder.
“She said, ‘What are your responsibilities?'” Anne Michael continued. “I’m like, ‘I’m not a real queen.'”

What Drake Maie Thinks About Ann Michael Maie’s Influence
Anne Michael has flourished as a creator and is known for her pastries that are shared in the Patriots suite. Her fiance said yes fully supports its influence as she also launched her YouTube series Beyond Bakemas.
“She has her own little journey that’s been great,” Drake told reporters at a January press conference about Ann Michaels. “Being yourself, that’s the best thing about her and why I love her.”
“It’s been great following her journey,” Drake continued. “I know (I) was looking forward to her coming here. After we got married, she came here and never lived up north.”
While Drake supported her, she also gave him a foundation to pour into as he faced a devastating loss in Super Bowl 60 to the Seattle Seahawks, losing 29-13.
“Not how we wanted it to end, but still thank God for this amazing season,” she wrote in the caption next to a photo of her and Drake on the court. “We are blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people, who made this season what it was. This is just the beginning!!”
