“What keeps us from winning is our losses”
While waiting for Stephen Curry’s imminent return, c Warriors did their best to collectively hold on and stay balanced (13 wins – 12 losses). The fact remains that men from Steve Kerr have yo-yoed and, inevitably, struggled to move up the rankings since the start of the season.
Which is explained by something special: ” I have no doubt that our losses are what keep us from winning regularly. I don’t doubt that. The numbers prove it, as do the videos » regret again, and always, coach Golden State.
It’s been a few weeks that the Warriors know they are saddled with this lack of purity with the ball in hand. Between their 16 turnovers per game (Top 10 worst in the league) and 20 points per turnover average (Top 10 worst in the league), this sector in particular makes California’s offense cough.
« The game is now much faster » analyze Draymond Green. « So the (opponent’s) conversion rate on (losses) is more important. Players are too good on the counter now. If you let teams into transition, it’s going to be hard to win. »
Only two players have an apology
Pour Jimmy Butlerthere are only two Golden State players who “ they have the right » to have waste in their game: Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
« Traffic belongs to Steph and Drai. They have the right to work as much as they want » accepts the All-Star winger. ” We other players just can’t do that. And so it is, I think it’s pretty fair. They have a right to lose the ball and I’m fine with that. »
However, Draymond Green believes that even if the Warriors have a habit of making mistakes with the ball under Steve Kerr, we shouldn’t live with it without trying to fix it either.
« It’s different now » sums it up like this chief of defense Californian. ” We no longer have the same margin for error as before, and we also feel that our opponents are very enthusiastic to face us. They are pumped up. So if you encourage it with reversals and quick counter attacks, their confidence will disappear and then chaos ensues. »
