There is no denial that the rockets need additional shots on their roster after heat exposed in their warrior playback loss.
However, there are numerous examples of young teams that are recently trying to quickly monitor their path to disputed and eventually pay the price for it, and Durant’s sun is ironically one of them.
At 23. years, it is not impossible that Jalen Green could be bounced from this horrible series and becomes that missile guy moving forward. Also, if Amen Thompson developed a jump-shot, or Jabari Smith, off-dribble game, it could help relieve the problem with rockets.
Whatever they do, it seems smaller and less likely to trade for Durant on the horizon.
