What the Bulls demand from Kobe White before the trade deadline

The Chicago Bulls maybe they are watching the last season Coby White. He is playing the final year of his three-year, $36 million contract. At the end of the season, White will become an unrestricted free agent and will to be bombed with trade rumors.

The NBA trade deadline is scheduled for February 5. However, Brett Siegel of Clutchpoints has insight that the Bulls may be looking to get an unprotected first-round pick in exchange for White, according to Clutch Scoops. Essentially, Siegel put White in the context of the Celtics’ Anfernee Simmons and the Hornets’ Collin Sexton, two other trade prospects.

“It’s not like he’s likely to be traded, I think there’s certainly a market for Kobe White,” Siegel said. “But when you’re talking about Anferee Simmons and Collin Sexton, I’d put Kobe White last because of the asking price the Bulls have. I’m told other organizations have gotten the feeling they want an unprotected first-round pick for Kobe White. He’s on an expiring contract. He might only be a three-month rental with the team.”

Furthermore, Siegel wondered if any team would give up that draft pick for White. That’s especially troubling given that White isn’t a top defender. Still, Siegel argued there is a market for another bull, Ayo Dosunma.

Dosunmu is also in the final year of his contract.

“He does a little bit of everything,” Siegel said. “He can be a two-way force. I think there’s more of a market for Dosunmu than Kobe White right now.” Dosunmu is a much better defender than white.

She was white battling calf injuries all yearwhich may reduce its trading value. Meanwhile, the Bulls are 19-21.
