Why Chicago ended Noah Esenge’s rookie season now with shoulder surgery

The Chicago Bulls they face two harsh realities. A five-game losing streak and many players full of injuries.
One of those players is their 18-year-old rookie Noah Esenge. But his season did now come to the end while undergoing shoulder surgery, according to NBA.com.
According to the head coach Billy Donovanhe noticed a problem and wanted Essengue to fix it right here, right now.
“I think the recommendation was to fix it now instead of waiting because it could continue to be a problem for him,” Donovan said. “The decision was made quite a long time ago today.”
On November 22, Esenge made his Bulls debut against the Washington Wizards. Overall, he was 0-for-3 from the field and played a total of six minutes in the two games.
He averaged 23 points, 8.5 rebounds and 30.8 minutes for the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League. Over the summer, Essengue he was the 12th pick in the NBA draft comes out of France.
Chicago is coming off a 113-103 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. They will play the Indiana Pacers on Friday and then the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.
The Bulls’ injuries couldn’t have come at a worse time.
From the jump, it seemed like Chicago charting a new course with a strong 6-1 start. Since then, they are now 9-12, and things are looking bleak.
Injuries are certainly a factor. Many of their key players, Kobe White, Josh Giddy, Ayo Dosunmu, Patrick Williams, Isaac Okoro and Kevin Huerter, suffered injuries that sidelined them.
Lineups have been constantly tweaked, and their bench depth is being depleted.
As the NBA trade deadline approaches, Chicago is left with the daunting task of dismantling its rebuilding phase. Therefore, they would be aggressive in the trade market.
Anyway, the air in the windy city is getting colder by the minute.
