Why JJ Redick believes the Lakers are “moving” in the right direction after the Wizards game


The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Washington Wizards 111-88, picking up his third win in four tries as their head coach, JJ Redickdiscussed how his offense is going in the right direction. After LeBron James and the Lakers lost At the LA Clippers, the Lakers bounced back with a win on Tuesday.

“We probably didn’t have a crazy offensive game, but it was very professional from us.”

Lakers All-Star Anthony Davis finished with 29 points, 16 rebounds and five assists, and LeBron James recorded a triple-double (21 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds). Austin Reeves added 16 points and eight assists, and Dorian Finney-Smith led the way on the bench with 16 points.

“It’s a great team, very well coached, Hall of Famers, great players who enjoy themselves,” James said. “When you play against a great team, you have to limit your mistakes, offensively and defensively, because they make you pay, and I think they did that tonight.”

The Lakers responded to the loss by dominating the Wizards. They outscored their opponents 89-77 through three quarters before limiting them to 11 points in the fourth quarter to cruise to a 23-point victory (111-88) at Cipto.com Arena. They will host the champion Celtics on Thursday.
