Willie Green at practice as calls for shots hit an all-time high

Willie Green maintains its own the status of the head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans while the hot seat continues to get hotter as the 2025-26 season progresses.

Green is in his fifth season at the helm of the Pelicans, having been in the position since 2021 and with the team since 2018. He led the team to two playoff appearances in 2022 and 2024, both ending in first-round exits to top-ranked opponents at the time.
