With James Harden, the Cavaliers have no time to waste
After three seasons and two eliminations in the conference semifinals, the Cavaliers ended the “Core Four” experiment with a trade Darius Garland to the Clippers, to recover James Harden.
The latter will try to support Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley etc Jarrett Allen towards the tops. Apparently, as “The Beard” celebrated its 36th anniversary, the window is no longer the same in Ohio…
“We see what is happening. There is an opportunity. It is time. This is the moment », repeats Donovan Mitchell. “In a sense, the franchise is coming to an end. It’s time to go. When we make this choice, considering James’ age and stage of his career, it’s time to act now.”
With the East more wide open than ever, the Cavaliers hope to take advantage of the former MVP as the team moves up the rankings, returning to the Top 4 in their conference.

“There’s obviously a different energy”confirms Jarrett Allen. “Everyone feels new energy and a new belief that we can go even further than last year.”
And Donovan Mitchell, who reportedly made the Cavaliers move at the trade deadline, is thrilled with the adjustments the club has made. Sure, Darius Garland, De’Andre Hunter and Lonzo Ball are gone, but the team got James Harden, Dennis Schroder etc Keon Ellis in return. What to aim for more… in the short term?
