With the Clippers, Jordan Miller is trying to make the most of his opportunity
Even if it gets better in 2026, the Clippers’ season is not living up to expectations. To find solutions, Tyronn Lue had to dig into his team and one of them could be called upon Jordan Miller. If his performances are erratic, this Friday against the Nets, the guard was eligible for 27 minutes and took advantage of the opportunity to score 21 points in his team’s victory, 121 to 105.
“I have confidence in my abilities, I know what I can do and I try to show it every night.” assures Jordan Miller. “For me, the most important thing is not the attack because I believe in myself, but I try to focus on game plans and defensive schemes to make sure I do everything right.
On a night where the Clippers were proficient at 59% shooting and 58% from behind the arc, Jordan Miller was able to shine by making his first six shots before finishing the night 9/13 and 3/4 from 3-point range.
“He was very aggressive” congratulations to James Harden. “He made his shots, he attacked the rim. Those are the things we need.”
This isn’t the first heatstroke Jordan Miller has experienced since the start of the 2025-26 season. because he scored 22 points against the Nuggets last November his career high. This season, the Clippers’ No. 22 is averaging 5.1 points per 12 minutes on 47% shooting and 41% from distance.

“He takes advantage of his opportunities” loves Tyronn Lue. “Like I said, he knows how to make baskets and make free throws. I’m trying to put him in the best possible environment to be himself and be aggressive.”
Although they have one of the oldest teams in the NBA, the Clippers seem to be finding a second wind thanks to their young players, because if Jordan Miller shines in the series, the rookie Kobe Sanders fit into Tyronn Lue’s rotation. This duo of young people can partly explain the recent resurgence of form that Los Angeles has experienced. The Californians have won eight of their last ten matches and are getting closer to a playoff spot.
“We have each other’s backs,” explains Jordan Miller about her relationship with Kobe Sanders. “We know what everyone likes to do on the field and we try to be available. As young guys, you just have to be aggressive and not play on your toes. Shout out to the youth groups, we try to make things happen.”
