Wolves confirm against the heat

The Heat and the Wolves provided an enjoyable first quarter, full of rhythm, without mistakes, with the attacks dominating. Since then, they had the most fun first, before Minnesota answered (27-29). A response that spanned two quarters, a 12-0 run against a crumbling Miami offense (61-54).

After the break, Anthony Edwards scores, while Tyler Hero doesn’t always make easy shots. The end of the third quarter allows the Minneapolis crowd to erupt: Julius Randle hits a 3-pointer at the 24-second mark. In the process, Donte DiVincenzo scored two winning baskets and the Wolves took full control of the match (93-77).

The last quarter does not change the trend and even allows Rudy Gober to deal offensively, after running for a long time in this part and vainly looking to inflate it. Pivot can increase his offensive statistics and Minnesota logically wins 122-94, to sign the third victory in a row and confirm a feat achieved in Florida just three days ago.

WHAT TO REMEMBER

– Everyone shone in Minnesota. Rudy Gobert with 13 points and 17 rebounds, Jaden McDaniels, very active, with 19 points, Naz Reed with 14 points, Donte DiVincenzo with 12 points… If Anthony Edwards was the logical leader of his team with 24 points, we saw everything on the Wolves and everyone contributed. The effort, both offensive and defensive, was collective.

– Bad evening for the heat. With just 94 points on the clock, 17 turnovers and 35% shooting, Erik Spoelstra’s men had a very rough night. The rhythm was often there, but the shots weren’t going in and apart from the opening minutes, the Heat never pushed the Wolves and didn’t look in a position to really take over this match.
