Yves Messi slams Victor Wembanyama for thunderous strike against Spurs
Yves Missy made an impressive highlight reel against Victor Vembanyama during New Orleans The Pelicans match against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.
Missy is halfway through the second season of his NBA career with the Pelicans. He saw his role decline with less playing time amid Derrick Queen’s rise, while Zion Williamson was more active in the rotation.
This does not mean that the young center is silent. He produced his highlight reel against Wembanyama, one of the league’s best young stars, in the last two minutes of the game. Missy got the ball from the perimeter while he flew into the paint against the Spurs star and threw down a one-handed dunk.
