Zach LaVine’s season is already over
It’s already the end of the dark season for Zach LaVine. Chris Haines announces in fact that player Kings will need surgery on his right hand and will therefore be sidelined until the end of this 2025/26 financial year, his twelfth in the NBA.
A delicate campaign for the double All-Star, both individually and sports. Already, because Sacramento is the worst team in the league (12 wins – 44 losses). Then, because he hasn’t been that unproductive (19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists) since the season… 2017/18. In other words, his first in Chicago while recovering from a torn cruciate ligament.
It also slowed down a ankle injury in December, Zach LaVine could have hoped for a trade moving forward, but the Kings were unable to find him a new base before the trade deadline. The mistake is the excessive annual salary ($47.5 million), which will even continue to rise next season ($49 million).
