Zacharie Risacher reveals the biggest areas of growth before age 2

ATLANTA, Georgia – The Atlanta Hawks they laid out most of what their top rotation will look like this season in the preseason finale against the Houston Rockets (with the exception of Dyson Daniels and Jalen Johnson). It wasn’t the best performance for the Hawksas they lost 133-115 and were mostly outplayed by the Rockets’ bench players.

If the Hawks were going to take anything positive out of the game, it was the game Zachary Risacherwho during his time on the court did a little bit of everything and finished with 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Whether he was creating his own shot on the perimeter, making tough drives at the rim or making plays for his teammates, Rizaher impacted the game and showed continued improvement from his rookie season.

After the game, Risacher shared what happened the biggest difference for him from his rookie preseason to now.

“Actually, there are a lot of things,” Risacher said. “The main thing is that I have a lot of experience. I had a good rookie season where I learned from my teammates. I was out there playing, getting minutes, playing hard and trying to win. I learned so much from my rookie season.

“I’m getting more comfortable with the team and the life of an NBA player.”

Rizacher had a solid rookie seasonand if he can build on that coming this season, it could take the Hawks to another level.

Zacharie Risacher continues to improve his game

Rizacher showed what he can do in his rookie season, but he’s adding things to his game that make him more dynamic on the court.

“He reads really fast,” Snyder said. “There was a play where they threw forward and he hit a 3-pointer, (another one) where they threw him forward for a layup. The versatility of his offensive game is growing. It’s not just him making a rebound or running in transition, which are two very important things, but his ability to connect and play with other people, you see the ball is a lot more versatile.”

With the Hawks having high expectations this season, Risacher’s continued growth will be key to their success. His play on both sides of the ball will be important, and if he continues to elevate his game throughout the year, the sky could be the limit for him.
