Zion Williamson dunks all over Moussa Diabate in epic poster

The New Orleans Pelicans and the Charlotte Hornets, two franchises that will forever share a bond, are currently on completely different paths. The former is locked in the Western Conference basement with the Sacramento Kings and does not have a 2026 first-round draft pick, while the latter boasts a promising young core and is currently riding a seven-game winning streak. With little chance of reaching relevance, the Pels desperately need Zion Williamson to ascend to superstardom.
Well, it certainly went up during Tuesday’s game against the Hornets. Facing difficult circumstances, the two-time All-Star drove hard to the rim and dunked over Charlotte center Moussa Diabate with about three and a half minutes left in the contest. He couldn’t finish the 3-point game at the free throw line, and New Orleans ended up losing, 102-95, but Williamson’s great feat of strength and athleticism was still encouraging to see.

The former No. 1 overall draft pick is physically capable of attacking the basket with authority. He prioritizes his fitness and has remained mostly healthy since returning from the hijacking on December 14. The Pelicans just need him to dominate more often.
