Zion Williamson gives up ‘special’ frame after Derrick Quinn’s early success

The New Orleans Pelicans are finally showing authentic signs of life despite their struggling 8–22 record. Zion Williamson and his teammates extended their current winning streak to five games on Monday night. The team looks rejuvenated after a decidedly slow start to the regular season. A significant factor in this recent turnaround has been rapid development Derrick Queen.
Williamson led the way with 24 points in just 25 minutes of action. However, the most impressive story has been the development of chemistry in the frontcourt. Quinn recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Novak has shown elite passing ability that has made him a top prospect. His unselfish style of play unlocks new offensive options for the team. This recent rise from the rookie is a welcome change for Pelicans fans.
