Giants vs. Broncos bold predictions for Week 7 2025 matchup

The New York Giants they begin to look alive again. But can they breathe at 5,280 feet? After theirs the most complete performance of the season last Thursday night, the Giants now take to the air at Empower Field to clash with the rush Denver Broncos. The Broncos also have one of the nastiest defenses in the league. Now the Giants will need all the oxygen they can muster to stay competitive.

The Giants are starting to find their rhythm. After a convincing 34-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, New York is brimming with confidence. However, the road ahead does not get any easier. The Broncos have won three straight and boast a defensive unit that leads the NFL in sacks (30) and allows just 15.8 points per game. For the Giants, it’s another chance to prove their comeback is real.

Denver’s defense carried the team through the winning streak. They recently separated a 13-11 win via the New York Jets in London. The Broncos have been a model of resilience under head coach Sean Payton. They just thrive in close games and find ways to create pressure from all angles. With linebacker Dre Greenlaw returning from injured reserve to bolster an already elite front seven, Denver looks even more dangerous. The all-time series between the two teams is deadlocked at 7-7. Sunday’s meeting will be a battle between a Giants side on the rise and a Broncos team intent on cementing their status as legitimate AFC contenders.

Here we take a look and discuss some bold predictions for the game between the Giants and the Broncos in Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season.

Jackson Dart struggles to reach 200 yards

Giants quarterback Jaxon Dart is coming off the most complete performance his young career. He threw for 195 yards and a touchdown while adding another score on the ground in the win over Philadelphia. His dual-threat ability and composure stabilized the Giants’ offense. This relies on a balanced combination of running and passing. However, this week’s opponent presents a very different challenge.

Denver’s pass rush stifles opponents. They average five sacks per game, and the secondary has been nearly as impressive. That allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete just 58.3 percent of their passes. Dart will need to read quickly and rely on short passes to avoid turnovers. Of course, sustaining long rides at altitude against this front could prove difficult. Expect him to remain efficient and error-free, but with limited explosive plays. Darts finished under 200 yards for the second straight week as Denver’s pressure dictated the flow of the game.

Van’Dale Robinson leads the Giants in receiving again

Wide receiver Van’Dale Robinson has quietly become one of the Giants’ most reliable playmakers. Against the Eagles, he caught six of seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown. That showed his sharp route running and chemistry with Dart. With Malik Nabers still sidelined, Robinson stepped into the VR1 role with confidence. He commanded consistent targets and provided a safety valve for his quarterback at key times.

The Broncos defense excelled in limiting deep threats. However, they have occasionally shown vulnerability to speedy slot receivers who can create separation on timing routes. This is precisely Robinson’s specialty. Robinson finishes with at least seven receptions and another touchdown. He will continue his strong streak as New York’s most reliable offensive weapon.

Sutton had a quiet performance in London with one catch for 17 yards against the Jets. He’ll be back in week seven. That wasn’t a reflection of Sutton’s play as much as the matchup. He faced heavy coverage in a conservative offensive game plan. At home in Denver, Sutton will have a better opportunity to make an impact.

Keep in mind that the Giants’ secondary allowed a 94.3 opposing KB rating and struggled to contain physical receivers on the perimeter. Expect it Bo Nick to take a few deep shots early to re-establish Sutton’s rhythm and confidence. Red-zone fades or back-to-back shoulder throws could be in the cards, especially given the Knicks’ accuracy on timing routes. Sutton scores his fourth touchdown of the season. He’ll remind everyone why he’s still Denver’s biggest threat when the game is on the line.

Bo Nix returns with 250+ yards passing

It wasn’t the prettiest performance for Bo Nix in London. He totaled just 174 yards and one touchdown. However, he managed the game effectively and avoided costly mistakes. At home, the offense should open up. The Giants defense surrendered big plays in the air and struggled to generate consistent pressure against top offensive lines. That sets the stage for the Knicks to announce a comeback performance in front of the Denver faithful.

Expect offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi to rely on play-action and a quick pace to exploit New York’s players in coverage. Nix’s composure and decision-making have steadily improved. With Jay K. With Dobbins helping to keep the defense honest, he will thrive spreading the ball to Sutton, Jerry Jedi and Greg Dulcich. Nix would go on to pass for 250 yards and throw for two touchdowns, re-establishing control of Denver’s offense after a conservative week on the road.

The Giants’ hot streak ends at Mile High

The Giants deserve credit for their recent surge. They cleaned up loose balls, found rhythm in attack and started to show confidence under pressure. However, facing Denver’s tall defense is an entirely different beast. The Broncos have allowed just 74 yards per game and limited quarterbacks to a 75.7 passer rating over the last four contests.

Dart, Robinson and Cam Skattebo will battle hard. Still, Denver’s physical front and opportunistic secondary will be too much to overcome. Add in a more efficient performance from the Knicks, and it’s hard to see the Giants extending their winning streak. Broncos win here 24-13.

Final thoughts

This match has all the signs for Denver to win. The Broncos’ defense is at an elite level, and Nix’s efficiency keeps them steady on offense. For the Giants, this will serve as an opportunity to see how their newfound confidence holds up against one of the league’s most complete teams. Expect flashes of struggle from New York, but Denver’s height, defense and discipline will prevail.
