Against the Spurs, Kevin Durant wore the PSG version of the KD 18!

KD 18 PSG

You’re not dreaming, the NBA superstar really wore a pair of shoes in the colors of Paris Saint-Germain! He became a minority shareholder after buying 1.6% of the Paris club’s shares this summer, Kevin Durant had the luxury toface Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs with a KD 18 dressed in “Player Exclusive” color with PSG stamp!

The pair comes with a navy blue upper with red trim. The club logo appears on the tongue of one of the boots, while the other displays the player’s logo in white. On the ankle, the “Swoosh” covers the number 7 Texas winger.

The colorway remains “player exclusive” for now and Nike hasn’t communicated further, but we can only dream that one day it will be advertised to the general public!

Our test KD 18

Nike has taken a new twist with the KD 15 to continue to best support Kevin Durant’s needs, especially in terms of support, stability and comfort. As the box says: “Designed to Kevin Durant’s exact specifications.”

Tricks that guarantee good support have taken different forms in recent years, which has led to this TPU cage in strips going all the way to the eyelets to properly squeeze the foot. This is a point that all “slasher” style models should not ignore, and KD seems to have understood it well.

On the technical side, with an equally optimal grip and a good balance in the sole between comfort and responsiveness, the KD 18 lives up to its status as a top model.
