The nightmare continues for Ja Morant, clumsy as ever…
He spent the evening shaking his head, disbelieving that the ball refused to go into the circle. Three minutes from the end match face in Thunderwe even saw I Morant hold your head with both hands…
Facing the reigning champion, the Grizzlies’ leader had a hell of a night in terms of skill. From his stat line of 11 points, 8 assists and 3 rebounds, we mostly remember his shooting ratio: 3/18, including 2/7 from distance. A horror that led him to finish with -23 during his 34 minutes of presence on the floor.

Aside from his sometimes questionable 3-point picks, his leader still produced his usual shots at the heart of the racket. But almost every time he proved to be weak.
This output, which occurs in in the context of internal tensions which have developed in recent days, would have been less alarming if Ja Morant had not continued with performances of this type. 12 points on 4/16 against the Heat, 8 points on 3/14 against the Lakers, 17 points on 6/19 against the Rockets… Since the beginning of the season, he has averaged 19 points, but with the worst percentages of his career: 35.8% including 14.8% from 3-point range!
