At the end of the effort, James Harden signs the 82nd triple-double of his career
Bradley Beal absent for the whole season etc Kawhi Leonard again stuck in the infirmary, the Clippers leaned on James Harden to stop their losing streak.
In Dallas, “The Beard” had to stay on the floor for 51 minutes, in double overtime, to defeat the Mavericks with a “triple-double” of 41 points (13/25 including 6/12 from distance), 14 rebounds and 11 assists!
This is his 82nd career triple-double in the regular season. He follows Luka Doncic (83) and approaches Jason Kidd (107), currently in 6th place in the ranking. At over 36 years old, he is erasing Larry Bird tablets as the oldest player to achieve a “triple-double” with more than 40 points.
With 8 “triple-doubles” since joining the Clippers, he becomes the only leader of the franchise on the court. Lamar Odom etc Blake Griffin stopping at seven.
First away win
Not enough to shiver. “I just play to win. As long as we work, things like this happen” assures, rather to keep the victory, after six consecutive defeats. “We just kept fighting. Things weren’t going well for us, but we have to stay resilient, keep fighting. We did that tonight.”
This is the first away win for the Clippers (4-8) this season, who therefore begin their long “road” with a victory (Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Orlando, Charlotte, Cleveland, LA Lakers).
“We have the ability to do it, as long as we keep fighting. Things aren’t always going to be pretty. Tonight was a good start for us, for the first game of a long road.” he enjoys finishing.
