Jaden Daniels’ injury ‘complications’

The Washington Commanders they are in a difficult situation in the 12th week. QB Jaden Daniels is out with an injury and when he will return is a complete unknown. Based on the latest reports, the situation may be even more complicated than it appears on the surface.

ESPN Insiders it was debated whether or not Daniels will return in 2025 during a recent article.

“From what I’m told, the plan in Washington is still for Daniels to return to the starting lineup once the doctors clear him of his elbow injury,” Dan Graziano wrote Wednesday.

However, Jeremy Fowler believes that the situation is much more complicated.

“Washington’s situation with Daniels is more complicated in my opinion. Sources say Daniels could be back as early as three weeks after the injury (so Week 13 vs. Denver),” Fowler wrote. “The team has loosely prepared for a five-to-six week layoff just in case. That tells me his shutdown remains a possibility, based on his endurance this season (three separate injuries) and the team’s current position.”

Graziano added that the fact that Daniels’ injury is not to his legs or throwing arm suggests he could play again this season.

But there’s not much reason to Washington to risk at 3-8.

One national pundit claimed he was already against Daniels due to recent injuries.

Colin Cowherd made a bold statement, declaring that Daniels is one quarterback under 25 to whom he would not give a contract extension.

“Jaden Daniels. I can’t. He’s hurt for the fourth time in a year and a half,” Cowherd said last week.

Daniels’ injury history is starting to worry some national analysts. There was even chatter comparing Daniels to Robert Griffin IIIanother speedy quarterback whose career was cut short by multiple injuries.

Considering what’s at stake in Washington’s future, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Chiefs keep Daniels in the foil until the end of the season.

Commanders say goodbye in week 12. Next up is the Week 13 game against the Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
