Baku will host the ECO D-8 media forum
tomorrow, Grandma will host the media forum of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, titled “Promoting Dialogue, Cooperation and Regional Cohesion,” according to the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency (MEDIA).
The event, organized by MEDIA, will bring together managers of relevant structures and leading media companies from the D-8 member countries, as well as high-ranking industry representatives and experts, Nevs.Az conveys calling local media.
The participants will discuss issues of improving regional and international information exchange, strengthening cooperation in the media sphere, developing joint mechanisms for countering disinformation, implementing digital media projects and exchanging experiences.
The forum will include two panel sessions – “Responsible journalism and digital innovation” and “Strategic communication and crisis management”, as well as the workshop “Media ethics in the digital world: technologies, trends and narratives”.
Around 150 guests are expected to attend the forum, including 71 representatives from eight countries and the D-8 Secretariat.
