Post Malone reveals his father worked out for the Cowboys ahead of the Thanksgiving Day performance

Post Malone’s love for Dallas Cowboys it runs deep.
Before the performance of the rapper for A Thanksgiving game between the Cowboys and the Kansas City ChiefsPosti’s father, Rich Post, said he was the Cowboys’ assistant food and beverage director from 2005 to 2019.
“It’s beyond anything we could have imagined when he or I started this music career started his business with the Dallas Cowboys,” Post told NBC 5 Dallas–Fort Worth on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
The Grammy-nominated rapper is a huge Cowboys fan and according to his father, he didn’t have much of a choice.
“You could be whatever you wanted to be in life, but I don’t know if I could have brought my family over to my house to cheer on the Cowboys,” he said.
Post Malone will host the Cowboys-Chiefs halftime show
The rapper, who is known for his hits “White Iverson,” “Circles,” “Sunflower” and “Rockstar,” will headline Cowboys and Chiefs at halftime game at AT&T Stadium at 4:30 PM EST.
“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and I was watching this halftime show for years,” Post Malone said in a statement on the Cowboys’ official website. “It’s a true honor to be a part of starting the Red Kettle with the Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”
Post Malone has previously performed at NFL events such as the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans’ Christmas Day show hosted by Beyoncé last year, and he came out as a surprise guest to perform their record “Levi’s Jeans.” He also performed at the 2024 Super Bowl when he sang “America the Beautiful,” and earlier this year he headlined the Super Bowl 59 YouTube Tailgate Concert.
The Cowboys and Chiefs kick off at 4:30pm EST.
