Seth Curry will finally re-sign for the rest of the season

The Golden State Warriors they sign again Seth Curry Monday after waived him before the 2025-26 NBA seasonaccording to ESPN’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater. The Warriors brought Curry into training camp but had to waive him before the season due to salary cap violations.

Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints explained at the time should waive Curry because Golden State is pushing against the second apron, which is a tough cap for them at just under $208 million. The Warriors had to wait to re-sign Curry so his prorated contract would fit under the hard cap. He will fill the Dubs’ 15th spot.

Curry did not play in the preseason before opting out, but now joins a Warriors team that is playing without his brother, Stephen Curry, due to a quadrupedal injury. Golden State beat the New Orleans Pelicans 104-96 on Saturday. Return of Jonathan Kumingaled by Jimmy Butler’s 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Gary Payton II chipped in with a whopping 19 points off the bench.

While the Warriors secured the win to move to 11-10, the offense struggled for much of the night. It’s unclear what the plan is for Seth Curry, but he could contribute to the offense, especially with his brother out for the time being.
