De’Anthony Melton is expected to make his season debut against the 76ers

Golden State Warriors guard De’Anthony Melton stepped up his activities in behind-the-scenes scrimmages and drills to make his season debut in early December. Now it appears Melton will get a chance to do so more than a year after suffering a partially torn left ACL last season.
Melton, who missed the Warriors’ first 22 games of the season as he continued to rehabilitate from an ACL injury, is outside of the injury report and is expected to make his season debut Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The last update the Warriors gave on Melton came on Nov. 29, as the team revealed he is expected to be given the full green light to return to the court during their upcoming three-game road trip.
It has now become clear that Melton will play Thursday in Philly after the injury report was lifted.
This is a developing story that will be updated soon.
